Terms & Conditions

Version 2 · Effective 2 October 2026

What changed in version 2: these terms now describe how bookings work today, without payments in the app. They also add community safety rules, logbook validation rules, rules for coaches and reviews, and the terms for third-party map data.

1. About these terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and M2X TECHNOLOGIES FZCO ("PeakX", "we", "us"). They cover the PeakX mobile app, the website and related services (together, the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

2. Eligibility and safety

  • You must be at least 18 years old. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
  • Skydiving and tunnel flying carry a serious risk of injury or death. PeakX is a tool for organising, logging and connecting. Nothing in the App is safety advice or an endorsement of any jump, dropzone, coach or event.
  • Always follow your instructors, your dropzone and the rules of your national association. You're responsible for your own safety decisions.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password secret, and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.
  • You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or at peakxapp.com/delete-account.

4. Community safety

PeakX has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. This includes harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, sexual or violent content, spam, scams and impersonation.

  • You can block any user. Blocked users can't message you, find you or add you to bookings.
  • You can report a profile or a message from within the App. We review reports within 24 hours.
  • We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we'll tell you why.

5. Logbook and validation

  • You can log jumps and tunnel sessions. Your jump number and total are calculated from your starting count, jumps logged elsewhere and your PeakX logbook.
  • Other users can validate a jump you tag them on, or someone can sign it in person on your device.
  • Only validate or sign a jump you witnessed or supervised and can vouch for. False validations break these Terms.
  • When you record an in-person signature, you confirm the signer agreed to give their licence number and signature.
  • Validated jumps are locked and can't be deleted.
  • If you delete your account, the signatures you gave on other people's jumps stay on their logbooks.
  • PeakX doesn't check logbook content. A PeakX logbook is only an official record where your national association or dropzone accepts it.

6. Coaching and bookings

  • PeakX helps athletes and coaches request, confirm, organise and chat about coaching sessions.
  • PeakX doesn't take or process payments. Prices and payment are agreed and settled directly between athlete and coach.
  • Coaches are independent and aren't employees or agents of PeakX. PeakX isn't a party to any coaching agreement and doesn't guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any session.
  • Coaches must:
    • hold the ratings, licences and insurance their services require;
    • keep their profile, services, prices, locations and availability accurate;
    • follow dropzone and national association rules;
    • only add people to a booking with their agreement;
    • only record a guest's details with the guest's permission.
  • Response rules: coaches agree to the booking response rules. Unanswered requests trigger reminders, and can make the coach profile inactive until the coach replies. Coaches also agree to a reply-time badge being shown on their profile.
  • Changes and cancellations are between athlete and coach. Anyone on a booking can cancel it in the App, and a reason is shared with the others.
  • Athletes are responsible for checking a coach's credentials and suitability for them.

7. Reviews

  • Reviews must reflect a real experience with the coach: a booking, jump, tunnel session, event or conversation.
  • One review per coach per person.
  • No fake, paid or incentivised reviews, and no reviewing yourself.
  • We may remove reviews that break these rules.

8. Your content

  • You keep ownership of what you post: logbook entries, photos, messages, reviews, events and profile information.
  • You give PeakX a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display and share that content within the App, only as needed to run the App and as described in the Privacy Policy. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where section 5 or the Privacy Policy says content stays.
  • Only post content you have the right to share. Nothing false, defamatory, illegal, harmful or infringing.
  • Don't post sensitive information about other people.

9. Friends, tagging and invites

  • Athletes can only tag friends. Only tag people who were really on the jump or booking.
  • Only send PeakX invites to people you know. No bulk or unsolicited messaging.

10. Feedback

If you send us ideas, suggestions or bug reports, we can use them freely to improve PeakX, without owing you anything.

11. Things you must not do

  • Use the App for anything unlawful.
  • Give false or misleading information, including false jump data or validations.
  • Harass, threaten or harm others.
  • Scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the App, or get around its security or rate limits.
  • Advertise or solicit without our written permission. This doesn't apply to coaches offering their services through their profile.
  • Create accounts for others, or impersonate anyone.

12. Third-party services and content

  • Dropzone information and photos come partly from Google Maps. By using these features you agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Some images come from Unsplash, under the Unsplash License.
  • Dropzone and event details can be wrong or change without notice. Check with the dropzone or organiser before you travel.

13. Disclaimers and liability

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
  • To the extent the law allows, PeakX isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill.
  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of:
    • the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim;
    • USD 100.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your rights under consumer protection law.

14. Suspension and termination

  • We may suspend or close your account if you break these Terms, or to protect users or the App. Where we can, we'll tell you why.
  • You can stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

15. Intellectual property

The App's design, software, logos and content (apart from user content) belong to PeakX or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

16. Apple App Store

If you downloaded PeakX from the Apple App Store:

  • these Terms are between you and PeakX, not Apple;
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App;
  • Apple isn't responsible for any claims about the App, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims;
  • if the App fails to meet any applicable warranty, you can notify Apple. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation;
  • you confirm you're not in a country under a US government embargo, and not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties;
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

17. Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
  • Disputes will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), seated in Dubai, in English.
  • We may seek urgent relief from a competent court.
  • Consumer protection rights in your country that can't be waived still apply.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use your data, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Other changes, such as clarifications or updates for new features, take effect when we publish them. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the App after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
